How To Drink Matcha

There are hundreds of ways to enjoy this green tea super food. Let's go over the main few.
Ceremonial Matcha Tea
The simplest and purest way to enjoy matcha.

What you need:
1-2 scoops of Ceremonial matcha powder
Hot water
Bamboo whisk
Preparation:
Heat water to between 158F (70C) to 176F (80C). For a softer more mellow flavor opt for the former temperature. If you don't have a temperature controlled kettle, boil the water and let it sit for roughly 10-15 minutes. If the water is too hot you will burn the matcha as it is very delicate.
Take a scoop or two of ceremonial matcha and place it into a bowl.
Pour about 2 oz of the heated water into the bowl with the matcha.
Whisk the matcha with the water in the bowl for about 20 seconds making an "M" back and forth until the matcha is properly aerated and has a creamy foam over the top.
Add more hot water until desired
Sip and enjoy!
Matcha Tea Latte
One of the most popular ways to enjoy matcha.

What you need:
1-2 scoops of ceremonial or culinary grade matcha powder
Hot water
Honey or sweetener of choice
Dairy or non-dairy milk of choice
Bamboo whisk
Optional: Frother
Preparation:
Heat water to between 158F (70C) to 176F (80C). If you don't have a temperature controlled kettle, boil the water and let it sit for roughly 10-15 minutes. If the water is too hot you will burn the matcha as it is very delicate.

What you need:
1 scoop of ceremonial or culinary grade matcha powder
1 banana
Honey or sweetener of choice
Dairy or non-dairy milk of choice
1 cup spinach
1 tsp of flax or chia seeds
1/2 cup of oats
1 tsp vanilla extract
Ice
Blender
Preparation:
Blend until smooth.
Pour and enjoy!
